The client bought this property when they recognized its potential to be their forever home. They wanted a place where they could retire comfortably with every amenity so that they could utilize the entire property as they aged. Family gatherings and entertaining mattered a great deal to them, so we focused the design on creating a personal resort. We ensured every window in the house offered a stunning view of the landscape. The pool was renovated and modernized, with the cabana carefully tucked to the side to keep the views unobstructed. We pruned and rejuvenated a large existing Japanese maple, turning it into a show-stopping focal point. Making the rear lawn, raised vegetable garden, and pool patio continuously accessible for everyone, a ramp connected the outdoor elements seamlessly. Including a sunken spa and adding a seat wall ensured the client could enter and enjoy it safely all year round. We installed custom stainless-steel railings that served as artwork and offered support where needed. Additionally, the railings complemented the custom-built fire table made of stainless steel and granite. Strategically positioned sculptures from the owners’ previous home provide focal points near and distant.
